Dave is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communication. He began his carreer with Northwestern Mutual in 2012.

Dave holds his Series 7, Series 65, Series 6, and Series 63 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses. He also obtained his CFP®, CLU®, ChFC® and RICP® designations.

  • ChFC® - A Chartered Financial Consultant® ChFC is an advanced planning designation that also covers real-world, practical planning applications for special circumstances, including in-depth coverage of planning for business owners, single-parent and blended families, LGBT families and special-needs situations. The program also addresses retirement income planning, behavioral finance issues, estate planning and the most current planning standards and practices.
  • CLU®Chartered Life Underwriter® designees have expertise in a broad array of personal risk management and life insurance planning issues for individuals, business owners and professional clients. Their training includes an emphasis on ethics, professionalism and a holistic and comprehensive approach to addressing insurance planning needs.
  • RICP® - Retirement Income Certified Professional® Using the most current retirement portfolio management techniques, the RICP® advisor helps to identify retirement income needs and objectives relative to the client’s lifestyle goals in retirement. Individuals who earn an RICP® designation can provide knowledgeable advice on a broad range of retirement topics including the proper use of annuities, mitigation of risks to retirement income planning, estate issues, Social Security, health insurance, housing decisions, and income taxation.
    The RICP® educational curricula is one of the most complete and comprehensive programs available to financial advisors whose goal is to help their clients create sustainable retirement income.
